Taxes and Fees

Please observe the the following tax rates and license costs pertaining to Ludlow:

Property Tax Rate: 1.91/ $1000 of assessed value

Tangible Property: 4.38/1000 of assessed value

Fire/EMS Special Assessment of Property: 1.71/ $1000 per assessed value

Business License: $50 per business

Rental License: $75 per building

Payroll: 1.5%

Insurance Premium: 10%

Vehicle City Sticker: $10 if paid at the Municipal Center, $11 if paid at the Kenton County Courthouse

Handicap Parking Permit: $50 for permit, $10 renewal rate

Waste Fee: $38.25 per unit*

City taxes are generally due October 31st annually. Ludlow operates on a fiscal year beginning July 1st and ending June 30th the following year.

*Waste collection is billed quarterly and due the 18th of January, April, July and October.
