Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement violations are enforced under the International Property Maintenance Code 2012 Edition and City of Ludlow Code of Ordinances Chapter 91 Nuisances.

Recent Revisions:

Concerns dealing with Property Maintenance issues should be referred to the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission at 859-331-8980 or www.nkapc.org.

Concerns dealing with nuisances or other violations of the City of Ludlow Code of Ordinances should be referred to Rob Himes at 859-491-1233 or rhimes@ludlow.org.

Ludlow Permits


Beginning March 15, 2012, the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission will be the single place to visit for your building, improvement, or development projects as participants of the One Stop Shop program.  Visit or call us regarding:

  • zoning permits
  • building permits or inspections
  • electric permits / inspections
  • HVAC permits

Since January 1, 2006, NKAPC's One Stop Shop website has provided online access to all these application procedures and answers to our most frequently asked questions.
