911 Transition takes effect 3/1/13 at 10 a.m.

When residents dial 911, it will now ring at the Kenton County Emergency Communications Center.  Residents of Ludlow, Bromley, Park Hills, and Fort Wright should not notice any changes in service when they call for Police, Fire, or EMS services after 10 a.m. this morning.

Ed Butler, director of Kenton County’s consolidated dispatch center has stated that the only hiccup in the changeover may be on the part of the many alarm companies serving property owners in the four cities.

For non-emergency calls, contact the Kenton County Emergency Communications Center at 859-356-3191.  To pick up police reports, contact your local police department.  Ludlow Police may be reached at 859-261-8186.
