On Monday, May 11, 2020, per Mayor Josh Boone’s orders, the City will reopen the open field areas of the City parks, basketball courts, and skate park for general use by individuals.
Limitations and recommendations to keep safe distancing (6 feet apart) are still in effect. This affords individuals or families, especially those who do not have yards, an opportunity to hopefully transition safely.
The playground equipment will remain closed and there will be no organized athletics. Youth sports will not be permitted until Governor Beshear’s orders change.
