How to Vote in the Kenton County Primary Election

HOW YOU CAN VOTE IN KENTON COUNTY

PRIMARY – JUNE 23, 2020

VOTE BY MAIL:

    • GOVOTEKY.COM – request a ballot. You need SSN and driver’s license. Deadline is June 15, 2020. Ballot is mailed.
    • Call the Kenton County Clerk's Office at 392-1620 to request a ballot.
      • The Clerk's Office can help you through portal. You need SSN and driver’s license. Deadline is June 15, 2020. Ballot is mailed.
      • The Clerk's Office can send you the absentee application. This must be signed and returned by June 16, 2020 by 4 p.m. Ballot is mailed.

Postage is pre-paid on return envelope.  Don’t forget to sign BOTH envelopes.  Must be postmarked by Election Day, June 23, 2020.  Or put in drop off box at 1840 Simon Kenton Way, Covington, or Independence Courthouse at 5272 Madison Pike, Independence.

VOTE IN PERSON:

There will only ONE polling location available on Election Day.  The Northern Kentucky Convention Center will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for in-person voting.  

  • June 8- June 22, 2020 from 7:30 am to 4 pm and on Saturday, June 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at 1840 Simon Kenton Way, Covington
  • JUNE 23, 2020-ELECTION DAY-6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at NKY Convention Center, 1 Rivercenter Blvd., Cov.

Free Parking at the County Parking Garage across the street from the Convention Center, 220 Madison Avenue. Free rides by TANK. Bus station is across the street from the Convention Center.
