
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR LUDLOW’S REPRESENTATIVE ON THE KENTON COUNTY JOINT BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The City of Ludlow is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy for the City’s representative on the Kenton County Joint Board of Adjustment. The representative must be a resident of Ludlow.
Overview of the Kenton County Joint Board of Adjustment
The Kenton County Joint Board of Adjustment represents eight jurisdictions in Kenton County - Bromley, Fairview, Independence, Kenton Vale, Ludlow, Ryland Heights, Unincorporated Kenton County, Elsmere.
The Board currently consists of seven members, all of whom must be citizen members. It has the power to decide applications for:
- Approve applications for changes from one non-conforming use to another
- Conditional Use Permits
- To hear and decide cases where it is alleged by an applicant that there is an error in any order, requirement, decision or refusal made by an administrative official in the enforcement of zoning regulations
- Variances
The meeting location for the Kenton County Joint Board of Adjustment alternates monthly between Covington (Kenton County Government Center, 1840 Simon Kenton Way, Kenton Chambers – 2nd Floor) and Independence (Kenton County Court House, Fiscal Court Chambers, 5272 Madison Pike).
